Cookie policy
This page explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies we use on aqurio.ai, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, recognize repeat visits, and measure how the site is used. We also use similar technologies — pixels, local storage, and server-side identifiers — that behave like cookies for our purposes here.
2. Types of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function — for example, remembering your cookie preferences, securing form submissions, and protecting against fraud. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality and do not require consent under GDPR.
2.2 Performance and analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the site (which pages they read, which CTAs they click, how long they stay) so we can improve content and performance. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled. These cookies are set only after you accept analytics in our consent banner.
2.3 Functional
Remember choices you make — language, region, or content preferences — so we can give you a more personalized experience. Set only with your consent.
2.4 Marketing and retargeting
Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant Aqurio content on other sites you visit. We use these only with your explicit consent and disable them by default.
3. Specific cookies in use
The exact list of active cookies depends on the consent choices you've made. You can review and change your preferences at any time through the cookie banner ("Cookie preferences" link in the footer). For the current list, click "Customize" in the banner to see vendor, purpose, and expiration for each cookie category.
- Consent management — Usercentrics
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization)
- Form security — Cloudflare bot mitigation cookies (essential)
- Marketing — paused at launch; will be listed here individually when enabled
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use rather than Aqurio directly (for example, Google Analytics or embedded video players). Those vendors have their own privacy and cookie policies. We work only with vendors who provide appropriate safeguards, and we do not allow them to use Aqurio site data for unrelated marketing.
5. Your controls
- Consent banner — accept or reject categories on first visit, or click "Cookie preferences" in the footer to change anytime.
- Browser controls — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
- Do Not Track — we honor browser DNT signals where required by law.
- Global Privacy Control — we honor GPC signals as an opt-out request under CCPA.
6. Cookies and PHI
We do not place tracking cookies or pixels on pages that handle protected health information for our customers. The Aqurio platform is hosted on a separate domain (not aqurio.ai) and is governed by Business Associate Agreement terms, not this cookie policy.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as we add or remove tools. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
